About
Colorful Fire's work addresses social issues to provoke thought and encourage action. Colorful Fire received her Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Illustration from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. Over the years, she has embraced various roles, including art director, illustrator, graphic designer and design teacher. These diverse roles sharpened her skills and molded her artistic style. Her passion for metalsmithing and photography has also left an indelible mark on her work, enriching it with depth and diversity.
Artist Statement
As a multidisciplinary artist, I create both 2D and 3D artworks that fuse my painting, design, photography, metalsmithing, and writing. My work addresses social issues to provoke thought and encourage action. I draw inspiration from conversation, music, mood, the environment, and social issues. These elements spark ideas and shape the narrative and mood of my art.
