Artist Statement

As an artist I want to make peace with myself. I am constantly searching for the true interpretation of my intentions, because in a way, we all respond to our surroundings and environment. I have been working on abstracts or semi-abstracts more that I used to and I am enjoying myself in the process. My technical appreciation of music and its instruments is somewhat limited, but all together, the player, the lights, the mood and the feelings that are inspired when you concentrate into the music becomes a magical feast in front of my eyes. Most of us just enjoy it, and allow our spirits be transported to another dimension. That is what I want to paint about. I have a special interest in the hands as I find them both challenging and very expressive, so I want to pass those feelings along in a free manner without concern for boundaries.
