Artist Statement
Mostly I use pallid colors that are earthy, soiled and transparent. By applying pigment beyond image boundaries I attempt to create mystical landscapes and a visual satire into another reality. I’m fond of using morphic subject matter such as pyramids, circles, horizon lines, fruits and vegetables as well as lyrical and symbiotic figures. I have a positive outlook and endeavor to control the chaos of creativity as it relates to my spontaneous application of medium to canvas and through that experience I attempt to communicate ideas. My canvases also carry messages and graffiti on the margins that relate to the subject matter.
