Tim Burke has been a leader in the outsider art movement in Detroit for the last 28 years. Tim has mastered the found object genre with reclaimed material from historic landmark buildings that have been torn down in Detroit. Tim's studio gallery is located within the confines of the world famous Heidelberg Project. His sculptural garden is a primary highlight of the Heidelberg Project. Tim's work has been constructively critiqued by world renowned curator of Storm King Art Center in New York. Tim was recently asked to display his work for 2 years at the Michigan Legacy Art Park.
