Alex Gilford

My work is concerned with the raw unscripted moments of individuals and groups in the pursuit of everything that makes us human. My research is an exploration of people’s similarities and deviations, passions and indifferences, successes and struggles from all parts of the tapestry that is culture. The veils that obscure our vision are pulled back to reveal an honest look at the lives of people around us. My subjects range from the personally reflective moments of an individual to the socially conscientious issues that concern society as a whole.
